Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $2,668 per week
About the role
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a position in Lima, Ohio. The job involves operating fluoroscopic equipment and assisting physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures. The position requires 1 year of recent acute care experience.
Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients
- Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Monitor patient during all procedures
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices, and techniques on patient and operator exposure
- Demonstrate knowledge of physiology and anatomy to interpret examination requests accurately
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Understand and use the McKesson PACS system
Requirements
- 1 year of recent acute care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification
- Vascular Interventional certificate preferred
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Qualifications
- BLS, ACLS, CCI, ARRT (VI), 2 Years
Skills
- Knowledge of radiation protection standards
- Understanding of physiology and anatomy
- Ability to operate intravenous (I.V.) and dye injector pumps
- Good record-keeping skills
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Benefits
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
