About the role
TRS Healthcare is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a position in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and applying contrast agents.
- Operate equipment such as fluoroscopy machines and image-guided devices.
- Monitor patient vital signs during procedures and report any changes to the physician.
- Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records.
Requirements
- Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a recognized educational program in radiologic technology or related field.
- Current state license as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
Skills
- Proficiency with medical imaging equipment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Benefits
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
