Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $2,640 per week

Job Summary

The Interventional Radiology Clinical Specialist is based in Charleston, South Carolina. This role involves performing specialized procedures under the supervision of certified radiologists, assisting with patient care, and supporting clinical education initiatives. The position requires a commitment to patient safety, adherence to safety protocols, and effective communication within a multidisciplinary team.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, with call requirements. Minimum of 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Allied Health Professionals;
• South Carolina Radiation Quality Standard Association (SCRQSA) Radiographer Certification;
• ARRT Radiography (R) Certification;
• BLS through the American Heart Association;
• At least 1 year of experience as a radiologic technologist or in Vascular Interventional Radiology.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of an AART accredited Vascular Interventional Radiology Program;
• AART VI Radiology Certification.

Additional Information

• The role involves performing and teaching Special Procedures exams, operating imaging and processing equipment safely, and maintaining compliance with OSHA, DHEC, FDA, and TJC standards.
• The candidate should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and the ability to work as a team.
• Responsibilities include patient instruction, safety practices, and effective communication with Radiologists and patients.
