Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $2,600 per week

Travel assignment for an Interventional Radiology Technologist in Wichita, Kansas at Wesley Medical Center. Start date ASAP for a 13-week contract, 40 hours per week, 10-hour day shifts.

About the role

• On-call: one weekend per month and one night per week
• Unit: Interventional Radiology (3 procedure rooms – 2 Philips biplanes, 1 GE single, MAC Lab documentation)
• Staffing: 2 nurses and 4 radiology technologists on day shift; outpatient and inpatient procedures 07:00–17:30 with night-call coverage
• Volume: 10–12 procedures per day

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures including:
  • Embolization and Y-90 treatments
  • Peripheral interventions and trauma cases
  • Drain placements, biopsies, and spine interventions
  • Stroke thrombectomy, neuro coiling, and diagnostic cerebral angiography

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of current IR Tech experience
• BLS certification
• ARRT (R) certification
• Active Kansas state license

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior stroke/thrombectomy experience
• Experience at large trauma facilities
• Flexibility, positive outlook, and strong patient-care focus
