Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Responsibilities
- Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and applying sterile drapes.
- Operate equipment such as fluoroscopy machines, ultrasound devices, and contrast media delivery systems.
- Monitor patient vital signs during procedures and report any changes to the supervising physician.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and successful outcomes.
Requirements
- Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Passing score on the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) examination.
