Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $2,402 per week

Travel Nurses, Inc. is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a position in Savannah, Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
• Assist with fluoroscopic guidance during interventional procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and administering contrast media.
• Operate equipment such as ultrasound machines, CT scanners, and X-ray machines.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Experience in performing diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Knowledge of fluoroscopy and related imaging techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
• Current state licensure as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in interventional radiology.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating interventional radiology equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shift: 8 hours, 7:00AM - 5:30PM with on-call responsibilities.
