Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Hendersonville, Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and administering contrast media.
• Operate equipment such as fluoroscopy machines and ultrasound devices during procedures.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records.
• Ensure sterile technique and follow infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare team members.

Requirements

• Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Proficiency with medical imaging equipment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle stressful situations calmly.

Schedule

The shift is a 4x10-hour primary schedule from 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Alternates schedules are available from 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM.
