About the role
TRS Healthcare is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a position in Savannah, Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
- Assist in the preparation of patients for procedures, including positioning and immobilization.
- Operate equipment such as fluoroscopy machines, ultrasound devices, and contrast media delivery systems.
- Monitor patient vital signs during procedures and report any changes to the supervising physician.
- Prepare and administer contrast media and other necessary medications as directed by the physician.
- Document procedures accurately and maintain accurate patient records.
Requirements
- Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- Experience in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in interventional radiology.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with patients and medical staff.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited program in radiologic technology or related field.
- Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- Current CPR certification.
Skills
- Proficiency with medical imaging equipment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay
The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are 10 hours, days.
