About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026, in Hanover, Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
- Assist in the planning and execution of interventional procedures using fluoroscopy and other imaging modalities.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and administering contrast media.
- Operate equipment such as ultrasound, CT, and MRI machines to assist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain records according to regulatory standards.
- Ensure sterile technique and infection control protocols are followed during procedures.
Requirements
- Current state license as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- Experience in performing interventional procedures.
- Knowledge of imaging modalities and their applications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare providers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Completion of an accredited interventional radiology technologist program.
- Passing scores on relevant licensing exams.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating interventional radiology equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good interpersonal skills for working with patients and colleagues.
