Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $2,180 per week

About the Role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Little Rock, Arkansas. This position requires 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts. The role is ideal for an IR Tech with 1 year of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients while providing reassurance and support.
• Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Monitor patients during all procedures.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices, and techniques to minimize patient and operator exposure.
• Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology to accurately interpret examination requests.
• Operate intravenous (I.V.) and dye injector pumps.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Use the McKesson PACS system effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification.
• State-specific licensing where required.
• Vascular Interventional (VI) certificate preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods without difficulty.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
