About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting July 27, 2026, in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
  • Assist in the preparation of patients for procedures, including positioning and immobilization.
  • Operate imaging equipment to capture accurate images for diagnostic and procedural purposes.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and other necessary medications as directed.
  • Ensure sterile technique during procedures to minimize infection risk.
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain records as required.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and referring physicians to ensure clear understanding of procedures and expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Current state license as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
  • Experience in interventional radiology procedures.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in operating interventional radiology equipment.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to work long hours.
  • Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
