About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting July 13, 2026, in Detroit, Michigan.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
- Assist in the planning and execution of interventional procedures using fluoroscopy and other imaging modalities.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and applying sterile drapes.
- Operate equipment such as ultrasound machines, CT scanners, and X-ray machines.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain records.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in the state of Michigan.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
- Proficiency in operating interventional radiology equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Completion of an accredited interventional radiology technologist program.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Skills
- Skilled in operating interventional radiology equipment.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Good interpersonal skills for working with patients and medical staff.

Pay
