About the role
Nightingale Nurses is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting on August 3, 2026, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Responsibilities
- Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of interventional radiologists.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and monitoring vital signs.
- Operate imaging equipment and record images accurately.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Document procedures and patient care activities according to hospital policies and regulations.
Requirements
- Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- Valid state license as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Skills
- Proficiency with medical imaging equipment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
The pay rate for this position is $50-55 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
This is a 13-week assignment with a 36-hour workweek, consisting of 9-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.
