Job Details

Position: Interventional Radiology Technician
Prior IR (Interventional Radiology) experience required
Experience with EPIC system
May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed

• Prior IR experience
• Ascension Core Competencies (HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, OSHA Topics)
• Ascension Specialty Exam (completed prior to first assignment and updated every 3 years)
• Ascension Skills Checklist (clinical only, to be completed within one year of start; updated annually for specialty)
• Ascension Medical Imaging Contract Worker Onboarding and related attestations
• MMR vaccination or positive IGG Titer
• Fit Test (preferred prior to start, can be completed onsite)
• Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or declination
• Health Statement or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
• Driver's License/State ID (must not be expired and address must match)
• 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) with required timing and annual TB Questionnaire
• Varicella vaccination or immunity evidence
• Tdap vaccination valid within 10 years
• Ascension Profile (Resume or Profile)
• Ascension 2 Professional References
• Ascension Criminal Background Check Results
• Ascension EPLS (Exclusionary Provider List System)
• Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days prior to start and updated annually
• Ascension Education Verification relevant to clinical work
• Ascension Confirmation of Assignment
• Ascension Employment Verification for past seven years
• Ascension Color Vision test (completed prior to start and updated every 3 years)

Schedule Information

• Shift: 07:30 - 17:00, Monday through Friday
• Call: Based on department needs, currently 1 weeknight a week and every other weekend
• Holidays: Call as needed
