About the role

MetaSense, Inc. is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 12-week assignment in Morristown, New Jersey. This position involves 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist proceduralists during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular, neuro-interventional cases by scrubbing side-by-side with specialty proceduralists.
• Operate floor and ceiling-mounted fluoroscopic modality machines.
• Identify, retrieve, and circulate complex products during interventional procedural cases.
• Apply critical thinking during neuro-interventional and complex cases to assist proceduralists.
• Operate power injection of iodinated contrast media devices during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Use strong communication skills, including closed-loop communication.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention measures to set up procedural trays.
• Positively contribute to a multi-disciplinary team of nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons.
• Document in the electronic medical record and send images to Sectra/PACS system.
• Manage groin care post-intervention.
• Provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist with NJ radiographic licensure.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Associate degree or completion of an accredited radiographic program.
• NJ radiographic licensure.
• BLS certification from an approved AHS-credentialed American Heart Association or a BLS accredited with skill demonstration in basic life support measures.
• Current Radiography (R) certification with ARRT.

This role requires radiographic licensure to operate x-ray fluoroscopic modalities.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
