Radiography (R) certification with ARRT

Job Details

• Assist proceduralist during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular, neuro-interventional cases with scrubbing side by side with specialty proceduralist
• Strong knowledge with Floor and ceiling mounted fluoroscopic modality machines
• Able to identify, retrieve, and circulate complex products during interventional procedural cases
• Able to critically think during neuro-interventional and complex cases to assist proceduralist
• Operate power injection of iodinated contrast media device during diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Strong communication skills using closed loop communication
• Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention measures to set up procedural trays
• Contribute positively to a multi-disciplinary team with nurses, radiologist, and vascular surgeons
• Knowledge of documentation in electronic medical record and sending images to Sectra/PACs system
• Provide groin management post intervention
• Provide high quality care in a fast paced environment

Role

Role similar to cardiovascular technologist but must have radiographic licensure to operate x-ray fluoroscopic modalities

Job Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as Interventional Radiologic technologist or Cardio-Vascular technologist with NJ radiographic licensure
• High School Diploma/GED, Associate degree, or completion of accredited radiographic program

Schedule Information

• 3-12 twelve-hour shifts or 4-10 hour shifts
• ONCALL every 4th weekend and 1 day per week
