Travel Interventional Radiology Technician - $2,479 per week
About the role
The position involves performing vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures using specialized equipment. This role requires a proven track record of 2+ years as an Interventional Radiographer, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to patient safety.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Develop and maintain skills in various clinical systems including McKesson RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, and Teletrak.
- Maintain equipment performance to specifications.
- Aid in maintaining an adequate supply of supplies for patient care.
- Capture relevant exam information during the exam.
- Assist radiologists in performing exams while ensuring clinical excellence.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Interventional Radiographer.
- Independent decision-making skills.
- Strong understanding of patient safety and precautions.
- Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
- Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees.
- Capable of maintaining regular attendance.
- Meet all local health regulations and successfully complete a post-offer health assessment.
- Physical and sensory requirements: walking, reaching, climbing, bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, hearing, reading, writing, communicating verbally and in writing, responding to pages, distinguishing smells, tastes, and temperatures.
Qualifications
Must possess a current license to practice as an Interventional Radiographer in the state of Florida.
Skills
Knowledge of and ability to operate specialized radiographic equipment and perform interventional procedures.
