About the role
Access Healthcare is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a position in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of a physician
- Assist with interventional procedures as directed by the physician
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist during the procedure
- Operate and maintain equipment used in the department
Requirements
- Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
- Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
Skills
- Proficiency with medical imaging equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
