Job Overview

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to the Interventional Radiology (IR) team and assist with patient care in the IR department.
• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting.
• Operate conventional, fluoroscopic, or radiology equipment to obtain images according to physician specifications.
• Assist the physician during procedures by monitoring, passing instruments and catheters, maintaining a sterile field, and interpreting diagnostic data.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted practice guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional, compassionate manner.
• Maintain an environment focused on patient‑centered excellence.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.

Requirements

• Current license in good standing.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
• Preferably 18 months of special procedures/interventional experience, ideally in a critical‑care setting.
• Other requirements as determined by the client facility.

Pay

Weekly payment estimates include a gross estimate of hourly wages plus reimbursements for meals, incidentals, and housing expenses. The pay package is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
