About the role

Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a position in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
• Prepare and monitor patients for procedures, including positioning and administering contrast media.
• Operate imaging equipment to capture images during procedures.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records.
• Ensure sterile technique and infection control protocols are followed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Current state license as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Experience in interventional radiology or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Passport required for international assignments.

Skills

• Proficiency with interventional radiology equipment.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
