About the role

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will work within the IR department, providing high-quality imaging services while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The role involves performing a variety of interventional procedures under the direction of a radiologist.

Schedule

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Rotating on-call coverage required during evenings and weekends
• 8-hour day shifts

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures, including but not limited to angiography, embolization, and catheter placements
• Monitor patient conditions and assist in maintaining a sterile environment during procedures
• Work collaboratively with medical professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes
• Utilize the Epic charting system to document patient care and procedures accurately

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
• Valid ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT R) and Interventional Radiology (ARRT VI)
• ACLS certification required
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory
• Experience in a Level II or III trauma facility is preferred
