Travel Interventional Radiology RN - $3,285 per week

About the role

Interventional Radiology (IR) Specialist position supporting procedures such as port placements, liver biopsies, IVC placements, G-tube placements, PICC and Central Line placements, as well as neuro interventions including coiling, thrombectomy, and embolizations. Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, multi-room environment.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient orders and consent
• Perform comprehensive assessments
• Educate patients
• Set up and circulate cases
• Administer moderate sedation
• Monitor hemodynamics
• Document procedures
• Coordinate with healthcare team

Requirements

• ACLS (American Heart Association)
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• Valid RN license for the state
• At least 2 years of cath lab experience, including IABP experience
• Candidates must reside within 80 miles of the facility

Schedule

• Rotating shifts, 4 ten-hour days per week, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call responsibilities approximately once every 3 weekdays and for weekend rotations, including holiday call
• Call response time is 30 minutes
• Rotating day off
• Potential consideration for 5-8 hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM

Experience or Skills

• Minimum 2 years cath lab experience
• Proficiency in IABP
• Specific experience dependent on utilization

Certifications and Education

• ACLS (American Heart Association)
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• RN license valid for the state

Orientation

• Typically includes 2-3 full days of training/shadowing, followed by buddy call
• No call in the first week
• Second week on call with a buddy, then on their own

• Clinicians must note if they have previously worked for Marshfield, with an end date at least 6 months prior to submission
