Travel Interventional Radiology RN - $3,175 per week

About the role

This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the interventional radiology department, supporting procedures such as biopsies, vascular interventions, and stroke management. The position requires a dedicated professional to work weekdays with on-call responsibilities, ensuring patient safety and procedural success.

Responsibilities

• Support patient care in a fast-paced IR department managing cases such as GI bleed, strokes, biopsies, central lines, drains, and vascular procedures
• Provide 1:1 patient ratio care intraprocedurally, with up to 1:4 in phase 2 recovery

Qualifications

• Active Illinois license or confirmation that application process has been initiated
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
• EKG interpretation skills
• Drip titration experience
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a related setting
• Ability to use EPIC EMR and Phillips monitors

Schedule

• 4 days per week, 9-hour shifts between 6:30 AM and 6:00 PM
• Scheduled call shifts, including weekends and holidays, with a response time of 30 minutes
• On-call includes primary and secondary shifts, covering 6-8 shifts over 6 weeks
• No self-scheduling
• Unit features 6 labs, with an average of 20-30 cases daily
