Travel Interventional Radiology RN - $2,736 per week

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Interventional Radiology. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, performing a range of clinical tasks while preparing and assisting in interventional radiology procedures. This is a 13-week contract position.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in the holding area with a ratio of approximately 1:4.
• Provide one-on-one care for procedural patients during interventions.
• Administer conscious/procedural sedation and monitor patient responses.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of interventional radiology equipment.
• Communicate effectively with patients and the healthcare team regarding care plans and procedures.
• Evaluate patient conditions and coordinate necessary interventions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience, specifically in Interventional Radiology.
• Active Pennsylvania RN license required at the time of submission.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• Experience in circulating, administering sedation, and monitoring patient vitals is essential.
• Familiarity with vascular closure systems, central lines, and sterile technique is required.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Day shift consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:30. On-call shifts are required on weekdays, with every 7-8 weekends as well as holiday coverage with 24-hour on-call responsibility.
