Travel Interventional Radiology RN - $2,724 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Interventional Radiology for a position in Rochester, New York. The assignment begins on 10/26/2026 and lasts 13 weeks, with a travel employment type. The role involves 40 hours per week on 10‑hour day shifts (4x10hr schedule) including weekend and holiday coverage as needed. You will work in a fast‑paced, state‑of‑the‑art environment providing specialized care to adult inpatients and outpatients undergoing procedures such as biopsies, embolizations, ablations, angiographies, and drain placements. Responsibilities include preparing patients, intra‑procedure monitoring, and post‑procedure recovery (including PACU and extended stay up to 23 hours). You will be a vital member of the critical embolization response team for trauma patients, requiring critical thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a team‑oriented setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for interventional procedures.
• Monitor patients during procedures and provide post‑procedure care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care.
• Participate in emergency responses and unit needs as required.

Requirements

• Current New York State RN License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA.
• Telemetry experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent interventional radiology experience.
