Responsibilities

• Provide critical nursing care to cardiac patients while assisting Interventional Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, and Endovascular Neurosurgeons in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures.
• Provide education to patients and family members.
• Insert and remove intravenous lines.
• Administer medication including moderate sedation.
• Monitor patient patterns and vital signs during procedures.
• Oversee the safety and comfort of patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Provide post-procedure monitoring.

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS certification
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Interventional Radiology setting
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility

Pay

Weekly payment estimates include a gross estimate of hourly wages and reimbursements for meal, incidental, and housing expenses. Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
