Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac cath lab procedures
• Conduct interventional cardiac cath lab procedures
• Place cardiac implant closure devices
• Perform cardiac stent placements
• Carry out diagnostic catheterizations on adults
• Manage intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP)
• Interpret dysrhythmias
• Perform left and right heart catheterizations
• Perform rotablator atherectomy
• Perform scrub procedures
• Set up equipment
• Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias
• Perform room circulation
• Maintain sterile fields
• Implement isolation precautions and PPE
• Practice sterile technique
• Work with middle-aged and older adult patients

Requirements

• One year of relevant experience
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT R, CCI RCIS
