About the role
Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Salisbury, North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning patients.
- Operate equipment used in the catheterization laboratory, ensuring its proper functioning and safety.
- Document patient data accurately and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure sterile technique and infection control practices are followed.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology experience in an 90% IR environment.
Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Cath Lab Technologist in the state of North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating catheterization lab equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
