Travel Interventional Radiology - $3,366 per week
About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a community hospital setting in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The Interventional Radiology department has a daily caseload of approximately 25 patients.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include performing a wide range of IR/angio special procedures, including biopsy and contrast administration, stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrogram, kyphoplasty, peripheral procedures, drainages, abdominal and pelvic procedures, upper/lower extremity studies, genitourinary studies, vascular studies, venous access, and LP myelogram, as well as stocking supplies.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required
- ARRT (R) certification required, ARRT (VI) preferred
- BLS certification required
- State license required if applicable
- Community hospital experience required
- Proficiency with PACS system required
- Experience required with various IR/angio special procedures
Qualifications
Epic EMR and Siemens equipment experience are preferred.
Skills
- Biopsy and contrast administration skills required
- Experience with stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, and other IR/angio special procedures

Schedule
The schedule is 4x10 hours, either 7:00 AM-5:30 PM or 7:30 AM-6:00 PM, with rotating days off and call, weekend, and holiday coverage required.
