Travel Interventional Radiology - $3,300 per week

About the role

Travel position in Seattle, Washington. All previous permanent employees of any Providence-affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify. First-time travelers accepted; 1 year of experience preferred.

Schedule

• 10-hour shifts: 0700–1730, 4×10 days
• Call required: once a week overnight, every 5th or 6th weekend

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional procedures including Y-90 chemo delivery, GI bleeds TPA, vein sampling, and Phase 2 recovery
• Patient diagnoses: biopsies, GI, GU/renal, peripheral vascular, pulmonary, CT, endovascular lab, stent placement
• 50/50% inpatient/outpatient mix
• Operate Pyxis medication system and Epic documentation system
• Scrub and circulate in a 3-room unit serving adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics

Requirements

• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience with the following procedures:
  • Adrenal angiography, angioplasty, aortography, chemoembolization, embolization, ERCP
  • Inferior vena cava (IVC) filter placement/removal, liver biopsy, mesenteric angiogram
  • Paracentesis, pelvic angiography, renal angiography, selective visceral angiography
  • Stent placement, superior vena cavogram, thoracentesis
  • Angiography of genitourinary system, cholecystostomy, cystoscopy, gastrostomy, nephrostomy
  • Renal artery stent placement, ureteral stent placement, uterine arterial embolization
  • Endovascular interventions, equipment setup, room circulating, scrubbing/maintaining sterile field
  • Vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose)
• Two professional references covering at least one year within the last three years
• Completion of non-billable modules (average 16 hours) pre-start and annually
