Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology role requiring 1+ year of experience and ARRT-R certification. Details include:

  • Patient population includes pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
  • 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday with fluctuating days based on operational needs
  • Call required 1-2 days per week and 1 weekend every 5 weeks
  • Candidates will float within the hospital based on census
  • Uses Omnicell medication system, EPIC documentation system, and SBAR communication

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience required
  • ARRT-R and BLS certifications required
  • EPIC experience required
  • Community, Trauma Level I, and Trauma Level II hospital experience preferred
  • Travel experience preferred but will consider based on experience
  • Skilled in procedures including angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, angiography, IVC filter placement/removal, liver biopsy, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrostomy, cystoscopy, gastrostomy, and vascular closure systems
  • Experience scrubbing, circulating, and maintaining sterile fields for procedures
  • Able to interpret dysrhythmias and assist with laser-assisted procedures
  • California license required in hand at time of consideration, if applicable
  • One professional reference required within 2 years

About the Role

Perform a wide range of interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization procedures including embolization, angiography, stent placements, and biopsies. Responsible for equipment setup and acting as room circulator or scrub technologist maintaining sterile fields.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

40 hours per week, 10 hour shifts, 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday with fluctuating days based on operational needs.
