Travel Interventional Radiology - $3,090 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 18-week assignment in Seattle, Washington. This position requires 40 hours per week, 10-hour shifts, and operates on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients providing reassurance and support as required
• Absorb all diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Maintain thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices, and techniques on patient and operator exposure
• Interpret examination requests accurately
• Operate intravenous (I.V.) and dye injector pumps
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• Must have 1 year of recent acute care experience
• Must have BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification and state-specific licensing when required
• Vascular Interventional certificate preferred
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty
• Must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology

• BLS, ARRT (VI), 2 Years
