Travel Interventional Radiology - $3,081 per week

About the role

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a peripheral and neuro IR unit at a Level 1 Trauma Center. This is a travel position in Columbia, South Carolina.

Assignment details

• Start date: September 28, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks (13–26 week contract options available)
• Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts, varied start times between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM
• Openings: 1
• Weekend coverage supported by a rotating call schedule among 6 to 8 staff members
• On-call responsibilities after 5:00 PM daily and on weekends, supported by primary and backup call techs
• Epic EMR preferred
• First-time travelers will be considered

Requirements

• ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (VI) preferred
• BLS certification required
• SC Radiography State License required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• 1 year minimum experience with Epic EMR required
• Level 1 Trauma and teaching hospital experience preferred
• Experience with NICU, Peds, Trauma, and ER settings preferred
• Proficiency operating PACS equipment

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures in a peripheral and neuro-focused IR unit
• May be required to float to other units or campuses within the health system based on census needs and demonstrated competencies
• Orientation held every Monday with annual compliance training required
