About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting July 27, 2026, in Decatur, Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
- Assist in the planning and execution of interventional procedures using fluoroscopy and other imaging modalities.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and administering contrast media.
- Operate equipment such as ultrasound, CT, and MRI machines to assist in diagnostic imaging.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain records as required.
Requirements
- Current state license as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- At least one year of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
- Knowledge of interventional radiology techniques and procedures.
- Proficiency in operating imaging equipment and maintaining sterile environments.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Current certification in BLS for Healthcare Providers.
- Experience with interventional radiology techniques and procedures.
