Travel Interventional Rad Technologist

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a skilled Travel Interventional Rad Technologist to join our dynamic team in Tucson, AZ. This role offers a competitive base salary, a completion bonus, and the opportunity to work in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic interventional radiology procedures under supervision and guidance.
  • Operate imaging equipment safely, adhering to ALARA and radiation safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with physicians to plan and execute interventional procedures.
  • Monitor patient status throughout procedures and provide post-procedure care instructions.
  • Document procedures accurately in patient records and ensure data integrity.
  • Maintain high productivity and meet daily/weekly imaging targets within the territory.
  • Engage in continuous learning and participate in professional development activities.
  • Adhere to hospital policies, workflows, and quality assurance standards.
  • Build and manage a personal pipeline of cases to drive territory growth.
  • Educate patients and families about procedures, risks, and post-procedure expectations.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and coordinate with service teams for timely maintenance.

Qualifications

  • ARRT-certified radiologic technologist with interventional radiology experience.
  • Proficient in interventional radiology procedure setup and sterile technique.
  • Strong knowledge of ALARA principles and radiation safety compliance.
  • Ability to monitor patients intra-procedure and provide post-procedure care.
  • Accurate documentation and data integrity in electronic health records.
  • Prominent track record of meeting imaging targets and productivity goals.
  • Proven collaboration with physicians and team members to plan procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills for patient and family education.
  • Self-motivated learner with continuous professional development participation.
  • Troubleshooting and coordinating with service teams for equipment maintenance.
