Travel Intermediate Care RN - $2,423 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Intermediate Care (Progressive Care Unit) position in Duluth, Minnesota. The role is an immediate opening for a Progressive Care Unit RN.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication; report any adverse reactions.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, interpret and record electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology.

Requirements

• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
• 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience (minimum 1 year).
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods, bend, lean, stoop, and lift up to 20 lbs (patient lifts up to 50 lbs may be required).
• Good stress‑coping skills and ability to relate to diverse patient populations.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

12‑hour rotating shifts, 36 hours per week; assignment start date 10/12/2026; duration 13 weeks.
