Travel Intermediate Care RN - $2,122 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) position at a hospital in Arlington, Virginia. The assignment is a 13‑week travel contract starting 10/05/2026, 36 hours per week on a 12‑hour night shift (19:00 – 07:00).

Requirements

• Ventilator experience
• Active VA or Compact RN license at submission
• BLS & ACLS certifications
• Cardiac TELE background within the past year
• Experience in PCU/DOU/IMC/Step‑down settings
• Management of dysrhythmias
• Telemetry monitoring
• Use of Rapid Response Teams
• Pre/Post Cardiac Cath experience
• Central line care/management
• Peripheral line care/management
• PICC line management
• Management of cardiac drips (no titration) and titration of cardiac drips
• Heparin protocols
• Traumatic brain injury care
• Care of ventilated patients
• External CPAP/BiPAP
• High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
• Tracheostomy management
• Isolation precautions
• EPIC experience (accelerated or 2‑day class)
• Minimum 2 years RN experience
• Willingness to assume a charge RN role
• Comprehensive respiratory proficiency (high flow, tracheostomy, BiPAP, ventilator)
• First‑time travelers are welcome
• Scrub color: Navy blue
• COVID exposure possible
• 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks (Fri, Sat, or Sun for night contracts)
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (Oct 1 – Mar 31); exemptions handled per CMS guidelines

Pay

Pay range: $2,030.41 – $2,131.93 (based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week, subject to confirmation). A tax‑free stipend amount will be determined.

Schedule

Night shift: 19:00 – 07:00, 12‑hour shifts, 3 shifts per week. Includes 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks.
