About the role
Speech Language Pathologist Inpatient position in Grand Junction, Colorado. This role involves providing speech and language services to patients with communication and swallowing disorders within an inpatient setting. The clinician will develop and implement individualized care plans, perform assessments, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Schedule
- Rotating shift, 9 hours per day
- Minimum of 36 hours per week

- Duration: 13 weeks
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language services to patients with communication and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Perform assessments and interpret Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBS) and Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES)
- Collaborate with healthcare teams
- Complete medical documentation
Requirements
- Master's degree in Communication Disorders or Speech Language Pathology
- Current state licensure for Speech-Language Pathologist
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- 1 year of clinical experience (preferably in a medical setting)

Pay
Pay package is based on 9 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
