Job Summary

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) inpatient position is available in Richmond, Virginia. This role involves providing therapy services within a rehab unit and requires candidates to bring their license on the first day. The position offers an opportunity to work with a specialized patient population and utilize advanced skills related to stroke evaluation and treatment.

Schedule

M-F, 8-hour shifts between 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.; weekends rotate

Required Qualifications

• Virginia licensure required
• Minimum 0 years of experience in hospital or inpatient rehab setting required

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital and inpatient rehab experience preferred
• Stroke evaluation and treatment experience preferred

Additional Information

May float to an acute hospital if rehab census is low and on weekends. The unit has 44 beds, a staffing ratio of 8-9:1, and employs vital stimulation, AmpCare, MBSS with TIMS, and FEES. Documentation is through Meditech Expanse.

Pay Package
