Travel Inpatient Rehabilitation RN - $2,171 per week

About the Role

Travel nursing position in Gallatin, Tennessee for a Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN). This assignment starts on 09/07/2026 and lasts 13 weeks, with a commitment of 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient rehabilitation nursing care for patients aged 21 to over 90 years.
• Manage a patient load with ratios of 6:1.
• Utilize equipment such as lifts, sliding boards, Sara Steady, various PT/OT tools, EKG machines, and vital sign monitors.
• Document care in Meditech EHR.
• Float to acute care units if rehabilitation census is low.
• Respond to call requirements as needed, including every other weekend or as required.
• Handle common diagnoses and treatments including orthopedic conditions, stroke, neuro disorders, cardiac issues, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, and myopathies.

Requirements

• Active RN licensure in Tennessee.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Must have skills in communication, teamwork, flexibility, decision-making, patient safety, and escalation to physicians or advanced practice providers.
• Preferred experience in rehabilitation and medical-surgical nursing.

• 12-bed unit.
• Patient population: adults and geriatrics (21 years and older).
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.

Dress Code

• Scrubs of any color or scrub bottoms with a T-shirt/sweatshirt purchased from the hospital gift shop (hospital-branded).
• Unacceptable attire includes casual wear or clothing branded from other facilities.
