About the role

TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 12-week position starting July 29, 2026 at Wesley Rehabilitation Center in Wichita, Kansas. The position requires working 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, with every other weekend shift.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluation and Treatment of patients
  • Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs)
  • Ensuring patient compliance with therapy goals
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members
  • Documenting patient progress in electronic medical records (EMR)

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months current acute care OT experience
  • BLS certification
  • Active Kansas licensure
  • Experience in Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Setting
  • Lymphedema Certification or Neuro certification/experience preferred

Schedule

Every other weekend shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.

Unit Guidelines/Policies

Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. Patient have a 3 hour therapy requirement in Inpatient Rehab. Clinician is responsible for tracking of time/charges to ensure that they are getting the required time for each patient.
