Travel Inpatient Rehab Physical Therapist - $2,071 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week inpatient rehab assignment in Rochester, NH.

Responsibilities

• Work in an Inpatient Rehab Unit (3W) within the main hospital building, a 19-bed acute rehabilitation center.
• Shift hours are 8:00 AM–4:30 PM; schedule may include a weekend shift.
• PT-to-patient ratio is 5:1; nurse-to-patient ratio is 6:1.
• Interdisciplinary team includes PTs, OTs, PTAs, SLPs, RNs, LPNs, CNCs, and PCTs.
• Documentation system is Expanse.
• May float to med/surg if census is lower on the inpatient rehab unit.
• State-of-the-art equipment available on the unit.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required, with at least 6 months of experience within the last 6 months.
• Inpatient care experience required.
• Active NH PT license required (license required if applicable).
• Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start).
• Strong customer service, communication, and patient rounding skills required.
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Qualifications

• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration.
• One professional reference required.
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible.

Skills

• Experience with neurological patient populations is preferred but not required.
• The facility is open to training and mentorship for candidates with strong inpatient backgrounds.
• Scrubs are required; no specific color requirement.
• Highly experienced, tenured staff with low turnover and high team and patient engagement.
• Department is recognized for outstanding patient outcomes and strong team cohesion.
