About the role

This is a 13-week travel contract position for an Occupational Therapist in a CVA rehabilitation setting. The role involves providing comprehensive care to patients with traumatic brain injuries, working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Schedule

• 40 hours per week
• 5x8 Hour Shift: 07:00 AM to 03:00 PM
• Every third weekend required

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and implement individualized care plans
• Coordinate with physical therapy and rehabilitation staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and recovery processes
• Monitor and document patient progress and responses to interventions accurately
• Ensure compliance with safety and rehabilitation protocols

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, with CVA rehabilitation experience required
• Active OT license in Maryland or Compact License at the time of submission
• BLS certification required; CPI certification preferred
