Travel Inpatient Psychiatric RN - Nights

Role Overview: This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in behavioral and mental health care within an inpatient psychiatric unit serving adult, acute, and adolescent populations. The role involves providing comprehensive psychiatric nursing care, responding to complex patient situations, and ensuring safety and quality at the point of care. Responsibilities: Deliver top-of-scope nursing practice, model proficiency through precepting, and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts. Handle critical, high-stress situations with decisiveness and professionalism. Initiate corrective actions for adverse symptoms and utilize protocols for treatment. Qualifications & Skills: Valid CO RN license or eNLC privileges, at least 1 year of experience, and BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross with a current card. Strong clinical decision-making skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent interpersonal skills are essential. Key Duties Provide direct behavioral and mental health nursing care.Respond effectively to patient care needs and emergencies.Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes.Precept and mentor new staff and students.Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
