Travel Inpatient Physical Therapist - $2,925 per week
Job Summary
The Physical Therapist Inpatient position is located in Clovis, New Mexico. This role involves evaluating and treating patients with a variety of therapeutic interventions aimed at their physical and developmental rehabilitation. The therapist will work across different departments and locations within a 20-mile radius, providing comprehensive care for patients with diverse needs.
Job Details
Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
New Mexico Physical Therapist License
BLS certification through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross
At least one year of inpatient and outpatient experience
Minimum of one year of pediatric physical therapy experience if working in pediatrics
Must have completed a travel assignment of at least 13 weeks
Two (2) years current experience in the specialty
Preferred Qualifications
Doctorate in Physical Therapy
EPIC experience (training available on-site)
Additional Information
The ideal candidate will evaluate and treat infants, children, and adolescents, addressing motor development, strength, range of motion, endurance, balance, coordination, and gait.
Responsibilities include interviewing children and family members, conducting physical examinations, and designing individualized rehabilitation programs.
Candidate must demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles and be capable of working in inpatient, emergency department, outpatient, long-term care, community-based, and home health settings.
Flexibility and teamwork are essential to accommodate floating between different units and locations.
