Travel Inpatient Physical Therapist - $2,725 per week
Job Summary
A Physical Therapist Inpatient position is available in Des Moines, Iowa. This role involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans in accordance with physician instructions, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate patient recovery and discharge planning.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid state license
- BLS Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Previous LTACH experience
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Physical Therapy
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) setting
Additional Information
- Performs comprehensive patient evaluations and develops individualized treatment plans aimed at progressing patients toward discharge within an established length of stay
- Manages caseload flexibly, conducting individual and group therapy sessions
- Completes timely, accurate medical record documentation, including goal setting, discharge summaries, and compliance with applicable guidelines
- Participates in student supervision and professional development activities
- Adheres to all licensing and regulatory requirements and contributes to organizational quality improvement initiatives
- Demonstrates a commitment to safety and professional standards in all aspects of patient care and team collaboration
