Travel Inpatient Physical Therapist - $2,446 per week

Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a travel Inpatient Physical Therapist for a 13‑week acute‑care assignment at Johnson County Healthcare Center in Buffalo, Wyoming. This critical access hospital offers a diverse adult and geriatric patient population in an acute‑care setting. The role involves evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with physicians, nursing staff, and the rehabilitation team to help patients regain mobility, independence, and function. Buffalo is located at the base of the Bighorn Mountains and provides easy access to hiking, fishing, hunting, camping, and nearby attractions such as Yellowstone National Park and Devils Tower.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive PT evaluations and reassessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, medical, and post‑surgical diagnoses.
• Provide gait training, balance training, therapeutic exercise, and functional mobility interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and rehabilitation team members.
• Complete timely documentation and patient progress reporting.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge recommendations.

Requirements

• Wyoming Physical Therapist license (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
• Acute care experience preferred.
