Travel Inpatient Pharmacist - $3,610 per week

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Pharmacist for a 13‑week assignment in Sitka, Alaska. The position starts on October 12, 2026, requires 40 hours per week (11‑hour day shifts), and is a travel contract through a Joint Commission‑certified staffing agency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day provision of high‑quality, comprehensive pharmaceutical care to hospital patients in compliance with federal, state, legal, regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards.
• Participate in multiple drug distribution functions, including computerized order entry, prospective review and verification of physicians’ orders, and IV admixture preparation.
• Perform defined clinical/cognitive activities to optimize therapeutic outcomes under Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee directives, such as communicating with physicians, nurses, and other staff to clarify or change orders and documenting intervention outcomes.

Requirements

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Preferred: 2 years of experience in a hospital setting.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the state of assignment, or eligibility for licensure via examination or reciprocity.
