Travel Inpatient Pharmacist - $2,385 per week

Start date: October 12, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Schedule: 40 hours per week, 10‑hour night shifts. Employment type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Actively coordinate, on a day‑to‑day basis, the provision of high quality, comprehensive pharmaceutical care to the patients of the hospital, in compliance with federal and state legal/regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards.
• Involvement with multiple drug distribution functions (including computerized order entry and/or prospective review and verification of physicians’ orders, IV admixture preparation, etc.).
• Defined clinical/cognitive activities to optimize therapeutic outcomes under the aegis of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee directives (including active communication with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff about the need to clarify and/or change an order, and documentation of intervention outcomes).

Requirements

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Preference for 2 years of experience in a hospital setting.
• Pharmacist licensure in the state of application or eligibility for licensure via examination or reciprocity.
