Travel Inpatient Occupational Therapist - $2,230 per week

Inpatient Occupational Therapist (OT) position available at a short-term acute care facility. This role involves floating between units, providing inpatient acute care services to adult and geriatric patient populations. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient acute care occupational therapy services
• Float between units as needed
• Adhere to hospital protocols and clinical standards
• Participate in assessment, discharge planning, home exercise programs, and safety/injury prevention
• Work approximately 4 weekend days per month
• Be flexible to work holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Requirements

• Valid state occupational therapy license (compact license must be in hand at submission)
• At least 1 year of experience in inpatient acute care
• BLS certification
• NBCOT certification
• Experience with Epic charting system
• Inpatient acute care hospital experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in trauma level I or II units
• Community hospital experience
• Familiarity with assessment, discharge planning, home exercise programs, and safety/injury prevention

Schedule

• 8-hour day shifts
• 40 hours per week minimum
• 13-week assignment: 09/14/2026 – 12/14/2026
• Approximately 4 weekend days per month
• Holiday flexibility required

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
