Inpatient Occupational Therapist (OT) position available at a short-term acute care facility. This role involves floating between units, providing inpatient acute care services to adult and geriatric patient populations. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient acute care occupational therapy services
- Float between units as needed
- Adhere to hospital protocols and clinical standards
- Participate in assessment, discharge planning, home exercise programs, and safety/injury prevention
- Work approximately 4 weekend days per month
- Be flexible to work holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Requirements
- Valid state occupational therapy license (compact license must be in hand at submission)
- At least 1 year of experience in inpatient acute care
- BLS certification
- NBCOT certification
- Experience with Epic charting system
- Inpatient acute care hospital experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in trauma level I or II units
- Community hospital experience
- Familiarity with assessment, discharge planning, home exercise programs, and safety/injury prevention
Schedule
- 8-hour day shifts
- 40 hours per week minimum
- 13-week assignment: 09/14/2026 – 12/14/2026
- Approximately 4 weekend days per month
- Holiday flexibility required
Pay
Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
